Week-end sun & fun

We're having beautiful summer weather.. +26-+30c- very warm for Norway for this time of the year. So, what better way to spend that time than by going to the beach. The water is still freezing.. as it was still coat-weather 2 days ago.. but the kids didn't care.

More mobile pix & pizza

My mom bought me a mobile a while back (Sony Ericsson w/ camera & mp3 player)- it wasn't expensive.. but it works so well! I'm loving the camera. It's very practical, cause I always have it with me, and it takes amazing photos (me thinks). Thanks Mom!

I took the kids to town today for a pizza tasting survey, and after decided to go & eat pizza. Victor loved it! Ate 7 pieces.

A happy day for Norway

The 17th May is a happy day for Norway... Aleksander Rybak (representing Norway to the Eurovision Music contest- Europe) won!! His song "Fairytale" has been a hit & a favourite. He won with a record 387 points!

And the 17th May is Norway's national day. It is celebrated with a kids parade, where all (most) of the school in the Oslo area march in a parade with flags, down the main street & up to the castle, where the king, queen, crown prince, etc. stand & wave. We had beautiful weather, sunny, but not to hot. People wear "bunads", the national clothes of Norway. People eat ice-cream & hotdogs all day.. as many as you want.
