Back to school

1st day of school

Haircuts

Things I did this summer

1. Learned to drive

2. Patrick learned to ride a bike without training wheels

3. Swam more this year than any other

4. Went to the beach every day for 4 weeks

5. Tried sushi

6. Had a visit from Peter (haven't seen him in 9 years)

7. Went to Bø & stayed at a summer house there

8. Stayed on the island of Oscarsborg

9. celebrated 6 birthdays (in my family)

10. went on a scarry ride at Tusenfryd amusement park

my 30th birthday- July 24th

I tried Sushi for the 1st time on my birthday. We stayed in & had sushi & beer & movies. I loved it, especially the kimbap (the rolled ones).

Then on the week-end my siblings & mom came over to our place for cakes & coffe. I got some nice presants (products for hair & skin, dior mascara, perfume, & more).

My mom & sister Heidi's presant to me was a cut & highlights. I went for blond ones, as they're are the hardest to get when you do it yourself. I was very happy with the final product.

We celebrated my mom's birthday at our place.. all the adults came (my brothers & sisters, as well as Sherry of Santiago) for snacks, cakes & drinks. My sister Heidi & us put in for my mom to get a cut & highlights, & some of the others put in for a massage for her.

Beach

We had 3 very nice & hot weeks in mid/end June, so the fjord had a chance to warm up. Then later, when the weather was crappy & the temperature stayed about 18/20c.. the water was still warm enough to swim. So, rain or shine, we were at the beach enjoying the water.

Bø i sommarland

Another thing we did in during summer was a 3 day trip to Bø sommarland. We rented a summer house there & got 2 day passess to Bø sommarland (water world). Even though the weather was less than ideal, we had a lot of fun.
