I took the Christmas tree we bought out of the box & put it up. So easy, but I think ours look too fake. The type of Christmas tree I like best is the long needle bluish/greenish evergreen. This type is usually more expensive here (& was also in Ukraine). The short needle is what they have most of, and most affordable.

Aw I love the outside Christmas tree light. And the manger scene is really nice. And I loooooove the cold aura. Hehe I miss that. It really looks so cozy and Christmassy the way you did it.
The pix of Lisa & Patrick at the very top of the blog is taken last January.. right now we don't have any snow.. just cold, about 0c
